Horticulture Therapy: Feeding the Birds

Get ready for the season by making natural bird feeders using a wide variety of materials. Decorate your outdoor trees with treats that our avian friends can’t resist.

Hot mulled cider will be served during activities. Clients will need to bring wire cutters/garden shears to class.

Growing Green Hair! Making Grass Heads. Thinking of Spring, and planting seeds, growing plants and flowers and all things outdoors! Why wait? Make a green-haired grass head and place it on your windowsill. Fun to watch your grass head grow hair and then you can even give it a haircut! This is a remote class. Horticulture Therapy: Making an Herbal Blend

Herbes de Ann’s Place: Based on the French Herbs de Provence

Create a delightful herbal blend based on Herbes de Provence. Herbes de Provence, an essential component of French and Mediterranean cooking, is a mixture of dried herbs that adds a distinctive flavor. Some of the herbs to be used will be rosemary, basil, thyme and oregano with a hint of lavender. Enrollment for this class ends on February 10.

HT Seasonal Wreaths

Using materials from the yard and nearby woods, make beautiful and lasting autumnal wreaths. While they can be placed outside, be careful as the local birds and squirrels may think of it as a dinner offering. These classes will be remote only. Materials must be picked up prior to class starting on Tuesday, November 8 at Ann’s Place. A list of needed materials that clients must provide will be sent out November 8 as well as the needed Zoom link. Registration closes on November 4th.
