Kitten Club

Rock N' Rescue, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue based in South Salem, NY has a motto:

"We Rescue Pets to Rescue People." We are so pleased to re-introduce our unique Kitty Club at Ann's Place! RNR has several trained junior volunteers and adults that accompany our Co-Directors Marla Valentine and Juli Cialone bringing kittens, games, and compassion to local area long term care and support facilities.

Ms. Valentine has her Masters in Social Work, and she facilitates this wonderful program by utilizing the kittens as a tool to bring some warmth and hopefully spontaneous laughter to the room, while understanding the dynamics and seriousness of each family/individual's situation. It is a dynamic group which offers some levity and kitten cuddling while supporting participants through their own personal journey."

HT Making Grass Heads

Growing Green Hair! Making Grass Heads. Thinking of Spring, and planting seeds, growing plants and flowers and all things outdoors! Why wait? Make a green-haired grass head and place it on your windowsill. Fun to watch your grass head grow hair and then you can even give it a haircut! This is a remote class. E-mail will be sent with instructions to clients the week prior to class. Registration for class closes February 24.

Creating Intention with Essential Oils and Paint Session 2

In case you missed it! This session is for anyone who missed out the first time around.

A great way to reawaken the child within. This multimedia class uses acrylic paints, various types of paper, essential oils, the Oil Affirmation Guide card deck, and your intuition to create your own masterpiece embodying your intentions for the new year. No two paintings are remotely alike. Participants take their creations home along with a bonus gift from me. No previous painting experience is needed.

Horticulture Therapy: Making an Herbal Blend

Herbes de Ann’s Place: Based on the French Herbs de Provence

Create a delightful herbal blend based on Herbes de Provence. Herbes de Provence, an essential component of French and Mediterranean cooking, is a mixture of dried herbs that adds a distinctive flavor. Some of the herbs to be used will be rosemary, basil, thyme and oregano with a hint of lavender. Enrollment for this class ends on February 10.
