Allie has decided to do her Mitzvah project to support Ann’s Place and the art programs. Here is what she has to say:
“Hi! My name is Allie Levine. For my mitzvah project, I chose to help Ann's Place. Our family, like so many others, has been touched by the plague of cancer. Ann's Place is a community-based cancer support program located in Danbury, CT. It offers counseling, support groups, and wellness activities at no charge. It's a nonprofit serving CT and Hudson Valley, NY.
My project is Allie's Art-To-Go! I will be collecting specific art supplies and then assembling them to be given to people in the art classes. It will mean a lot to them to have their own kit to take home. I am hoping to collect enough for 3 classes which will help 45 people!”
