Fundraiser for Ann’s Place cancer support services, www.annsplace.org.  All donations go directly to Ann’s Place and help keep our doors open and our cancer support services FREE of charge to all those in need in our community.

Bring your family, friends, and coworkers to run or walk in the 8th Annual 5K on Thursday night, August 18. The 2015 event drew dozens of volunteers and a near record crowd of almost 450 participants. This year we expect a crowd of 500 runners and walkers. Participants are invited to the post race party featuring a barbecue, ice cold beverages, and music.

The picturesque 5K (3.1 mile) race course runs from the Amber Room Colonnade down to Candlewood Lake and back. Participants pass by stately homes and scenic water views. Proceeds of the race benefit Ann’s Place. Since this race’s inception in 2009, it has raised over $100,000.

Event Coordinator

JB Sports LLC annually coordinates over 20 running and walking events in the Northeast. The New Haven Road Race, Fairfield Road Race, and the Greater Danbury ½ Marathon and 5K are just three of the events they coordinate.
