Who We Are Supporting
The Ann's Place mission is simple, yet profound: To provide comfort and support to people living with cancer and to their loved ones. Their primary goal is to improve the quality of life of those with cancer. First established in 1991, Ann's Place fills the void between medical care and the psychosocial needs of cancer patients - men, women & children. All services and materials are provided free of charge. Ann's Place provides professional and compassionate support services to individuals and families whose lives have been affected by cancer. They are a cost-efficient organization, with a small paid staff - only three full time clinical staff supplemented by 20 volunteer degreed clinical facilitators.
Why We Are Supporting
Friends Fight For A Cure is a non-profit, 501 (c)(3), organization that was created by a group of close friends to help raise money for a local cancer support organization. Every one of our committee members has been affected by cancer in some way or another - either it being a family member or friend that has been diagnosed with cancer. Friends Fight For A Cure has chosen Ann's Place as the recipient of our fundraising efforts because it is a local,
non-profit organization that provides comfort, support and financial assistance to people living with cancer and to their loved ones, within our immediate area.
