What is the Danbury Dip for Charity?
It is a community service and fundraising event where caring people collect money to jump (Dip) into the icy waters of Lake Kenosia in the middle of February to help charitable organizations! The Danbury Moose Family Center donates every dollar that is spent at the Lodge that day, including food and beverage sales from 9 am- 5 pm, to the charities. The staff is comprised of all volunteer Moose members dedicated to making this a successful and enjoyable event.
Since its inception, the Danbury Dip for Charity has helped to raise over $27,000 for Ann's Place. Ann's Place staff member Jeff Beekman will be participating for the fourth year in a row!
What attendees need to know:
This event is open to the public, everyone is welcome! All alcohol must be purchased from the lodge! Plastic cups will be available so you may take drinks outside. All glass containers must stay inside the lodge! There will be additional parking at Kenosia Lake.
