If you were nearby on the night of July 31st, you might have heard the rhythmic sound of drums coming from Ann’s Place! Over 30 enthusiastic participants gathered to celebrate the Blue Moon. We began with a Labyrinth Walk led by Jo-Ann Frank. Some participants were familiar with labyrinths, others were experiencing it for the first time. A supply of stones with inspirational words inscribed on them were made available to any who were interested. Some who walked the labyrinth had certain intentions in their minds and hearts; others simply walked the path. We then gathered on the Timothy Kelly Terrace for an evening of drumming and refreshments. The drum circle was led by Tracy Yoho, along with his son Brandon. The gathering went well into the night, and ended with a viewing of the full moon. Based on the enthusiastic response, we are certain to plan more labyrinth and drumming events in the future!
