On Tuesday, May 5th Shepaug Valley High School senior Robert McCarthy hosted a golf tournament – Driving Towards the Future – as part of his senior project.  The tournament was held at Watertown Golf Club and was a huge success.  Robert was able to donate $2,300 to Ann’s Place from the tournament proceeds.  The purpose of the senior project was to do what you love while helping others along the way and Robert certainly fulfilled this goal.  Ann’s Place helped Robert’s grandfather so the tournament was in his honor!  Congrats, Robert, and thank you for selecting Ann’s Place as your charity of choice!  Events and fundraisers such as these help keep our doors open and our services to those touched by cancer free of charge.
