Danbury Moose Lodge #1373 hosted their 12th Annual Danbury Dip for Charity on Saturday, February 21st. Dippers jumped into a very frozen Lake Kenosia all for a good cause. Jeff Beekman, Ann’s Place Accounting & Contracts Manager, was one of the dippers who braved the water temperature of 34 and outside temperature of 23 degrees. The proceeds from the event are divided between 10 charities with Ann’s Place as one of them. The donations will be presented to the charities at the Moose Lodge dinner on Saturday, March 14. Since its’ inception, the dip has raised over $27,000 for Ann’s Place.
